Now, just one year later, Frost & Sullivan has recognized Zang as a New Product Innovation Leader in the North American cloud-based communications market.
The award is given to a company which enables communications such as instant messaging and voice, which can be embedded into business applications to improve customer experience. Zang’s relative market position is supported by three key products—Zang Cloud, Zang Office, and Zang Spaces—as the basis for the Frost & Sullivan award recognition.
How was Zang able to differentiate itself from the competition?
Zang is uniquely positioned in the CPaaS market. Most competitors are solely focused on either delivering API-driven communications to application developers, or are working to overlay APIs on top of existing communications services. But Zang entered the market on three fronts: CPaaS, UCaaS, and team collaboration—allowing Zang to leverage its platform investments to match solutions to multiple customer segments and needs.
Zang received the award at Frost & Sullivan’s annual Excellence in Best Practices Awards Gala, which was held on July 19th at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. Mike Seeley, Zang’s National Sales Director, was on hand to receive the award.
Mo Nezerati, Zang’s General Manager, was also honored to be the recipient of this year’s award.
